England beat Sweden 3-2 in Euro Cup 2012 Group D match. England’s supersub Theo Walcott emerged from the bench to score one goal and set up another for a 3-2 victory over Sweden.

England striker Andy Carroll got his chance in the starting line up for England and he did not disappoint English fans as he opened the scoring with a super header and England went to half time with a goal lead.

Steven Gerrard whisked in a perfect cross for Carroll to head powerfully home from near the penalty spot and give England a deserved advantage.

But Walcott made all the difference when England seemed to be crumbling, he leveled the score with a 25-yard volley in 64th min and then setting up for Danny Welbeck's outstanding winning goal in the 78th min of this Euro cup 2012 Group D encounter.

England are joint top of Group D on four points with France who beat Ukraine 2-0 earlier on Friday.
 
Ukraine, who plays England in the last round of matches on Tuesday, are third on three points and Sweden have none.
