Favourites

In this addition of the Indian Premier League the number of teams participating is increased to 10 which will add more thrill to this competition. As 8 teams fought for glory in the last three IPL's with Rajasthan Royals winning the inaugural tournament in 2008 and Deccan chargers and Chennai Super Kings winning in 2009 and in 2010.
This year with increased number of teams it will be hard to pick the favourite. Cricket is the game of  uncertainty and with t20 addition it becomes more tougher to pick a champion. Any team can win IPL 2011.

If we have to choose any favourite this year's IPLt20 tournament there will be no clear choice. There are few teams with great players which can win the tournament and are the favourites.

  1. Chennai Super Kings: Defending champions and the winner of champions league 2010 are certainly the hot favourites. In the captaincy of MS Dhoni this team looks very solid and will be the prime contenders to win this years IPLt20 and retain their title. This team retained all four players M S Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay, Albie Morkel and again shown faith in them.
  2. Mumbai Indians: In the captaincy of  cricketing God Sachin Tendulkar Mumbai Indians can beat any opposition. Their captain master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is in tremendous form which he has already shown in the world cup and he will love to win this year's IPLt20 tournament as they failed last year and were first runner up. Mumbai Indians also retained its all four players Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga
There are few other teams to watch which can win this t20 tournament, if played to potential can cause big upset. Those teams are Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders and  Delhi Daredevils.
