Virender Sehwag becomes 2nd batsman to score a ODI double century

Virender Sehwag just hit 219(149) runs against West indies, with India Finishing at 418-5 in the 4th ODI in india. Sehwag becomes the second man on planet to hit a double century in ODI, first is of course hit by Master Blast Sachin Tendulkar. Virender Sehwag becomes also becomes the highest individual scorer in ODI with 219 followed by Sachin's 200*.
In his innnings Sehwag hit 25 fours and 7 sixes.

It will probably take until 2017 until I completely realise [the magnitude of this]. I said before the game that I would have to be restrained with a lasso if we won, so maybe that will follow later.
I tried to be calm on the sidelines for a change and this worked out well. I knew that we would continue [in Europe], be it the Europa League or Champions League, but it's nicer this way; I think the team realised this before me.

Tiger Woods wins the Chevron World Challenge his first victory since 2009 when sex scandal hit his life and his golfing career was disturbed. Tiger Woods birdied the last two holes to win the Chevron World Challenge and kept his impressive form alive this month.

Tiger Woods' last victory had come at the Australian Masters on November 15, 2009. In the same month, he crashed his car outside his Florida home in the hours after the US Thanksgiving holiday, an incident that led to the unveiling of his secret sex life.

Tiger Woods remained without a victory for two years and 26 starts worldwide. On Sunday, the former world number one delivered under pressure, making birdies at 17 and 18 to erase a one-shot deficit and beat former Masters Champion Zach Johnson by one stroke in the unofficial 18-man event.

"It feels great," said Woods, who let out a roar as his six-foot birdie putt at the final hole dropped, then shook hands with Johnson as fans at Sherwood Country Club bellowed their approval.

"I wasn't really thinking, I think I was yelling," Woods said. "I think I was screaming something, but it was just that I won the golf tournament. I pulled it off with one down, two to go. To go birdie-birdie is as good as it gets."

Asked if he could characterize his feelings at finally ending his victory drought, Woods just beamed.

"It feels awesome, whatever it is," said Woods, who is projected to rise from his current 52nd in the world rankings to 21st.

Playing at  Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam India who won the toss and decided to field first put WI on back-foot with bowlers nailing the 9 wickets at 170. But Ravi Rampaul created a record with his blasting inning of 86 at number 10. A 99 run partnership between Rampaul (86(66) 6x4, 6x6 ) and Rauch (24(36)) for the last wicket  meant a challenging total of 269 for India. Vinay kumar and R jadeja took 2 wickets each , while Yadav bagged 3 wickets.
India with a target of 270 ahead, had a terrible start with P Patel (2) falling early. Sehwag made 26 , while Gambhir made 12 with india at 84-3. But Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli ensured that they lead India to victory. Both paced the score really well .Virat Kohli with his 8th century  117 (123) and Rohit sharma's 90* (98) never let Windies through.

Mark Webber of Red Bull wins Brazilian Grand Prix: F1 GP

Mark Webber won his first race of the year and made it one two for Red Bull with his double world champion team mate Sebastian Vettel's to win the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix.

Mark Webber drove with great speed in Brazilian GP and finished 16.9 seconds faster than his Red Bull team mate Sebastian Vettel who suffered a gearbox problems to give Red Bull a third one-two of the 2011 season.

This was Webber’s seventh career win and he finished third in the championship. His team mate Sebastian Vettel is top on the table followed by Jenson Button, who came home third for McLaren.

Sebastian Vettel has total of 392 points ahead of Jenson Button who is on 270 points and Mark Webber on 258 points. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was fourth on 257 points.

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso finished fourth in the race just ahead of team-mate Felipe Massa, with Adrian Sutil of Force India claming sixth place and Nico Rosberg of Mercedes seventh in the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Rookie Paul Di Resta came home eighth for Force India, capping an impressive first season with another good result, ahead of Kamui Kobayashi of Sauber and Vitaly Petrov of Renault. Webber took the lead after 30 laps of the 71-lap contest when Vettel, struggling with gearbox problems from lap five onwards, accepted the team's advice to ease off and nurse his car home to second.

Manchester United Opens Soccer School in India

This is great news for all the soccer fans in India. English football club Manchester United has opened a soccer school at Mumbai (India). Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) has programs all around the world but to set one up in the sports-mad country of India is a great opportunity for all the kids who want to become next Wayne Rooney.

Manchester United Outlets will be open in the month of December in Mumbai that will have everything Manchester United specific.

David Gill was at Mumbai to represent Manchester United. He launched the Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) and also was very curious to tell the plans of Manchester United for India.

Sachin Tendulkar was failing from last few months to score his 100^th hundred, but this was the greatest opportunity for him to score hundred centuries playing at Mumbai at Sachin’s home ground, in front of his home crowed. Whole world was waiting to applaud the little genius for reaching at yet another record this time of 100 centuries.

Sachin again got out on 94 against west Indies in the third test between India and West Indies, as we missed another chance of him getting his 100th centuries. India (ind) V West Indies (wi) Second test day 2, West Indies trail by 597 runs

VVS Laxman scored 176 runs and Mahendra Singh Dhoni slammed a 144 run century as India declared on 631/7 on the second day of the second test between India (Ind) vs West Indies (wi) on Eden Gardens at Kolkata.

Laxman produced yet another classy knock at his favorite ground where he averages an astounding 110, while Dhoni struck a belligerent 144 (175b, 10x4, 5x6) to record his first century in 21 months

In reply West Indies were struggling at 34 /2 after losing both openers Adrian Barath (1 run) and opener Kraigg Brathwaite (17 runs) before the second day's play was called 50 minutes early because of bad light. West Indies are trailing by 597 runs.

Laxman and Dhoni stitched 224 runs together for the seventh wicket in an alliance that put India in complete command on what looked to be a good batting track.

Indian bowlers did well to claim the early wickets with Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin taking one wicket each.
